Strategic Mapping

Strategic Mapping

Strategic Mapping aligns leadership development
initiatives with your organization's objectives.

The most effective leadership development initiatives that support the acquisition of targeted leadership practices are integrated with an organization's business objectives. And because every organization's strategic direction is unique, the leadership practices needed for success must be as well.

The Strategic Mapping process is a systematic approach to pinpointing the leadership practices required of organizational leaders at the mid and senior levels. The process identifies the critical leadership practices needed to fully support the organization's business objectives, designs a plan for building the needed competencies in mid and senior-level leaders, and recommends actions the senior team can take to develop an organizational culture that fully supports the acquisition of those practices.

For the initial stage of the Strategic Mapping process we use one of two proven, research-based methodologies that have been used in organizations globally and for more than 20 years: Strategic Directions® from Management Research Group or the Leadership Architect® Suite from Lominger, a Korn/Ferry International company.
